ADIOS DVD Overview

The objective of the ADIOSDVD is to provide a reasonable set of tools with support for multiple languages on a live DVD, namely Chinese, English, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese-Brazil, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. The DVD contains over 10GBs of files including more than 2GBs of documentations. The ISO is approximately 3GBs thanks to compression. To improve performance you can copy the ISO to USB or to hard disk. You can also run the ADIOS within Windows if you install virtualisation software such as QEMU first. Note: User adios and root have been assigned the password 12qwaszx.

To access secure web pages on the ADIOS DVD enter https://localhost username adios with password 12qwaszx. Edit the apache web server configuration files (/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf) to change access control and authentication. The webalizer normally is run by crond and has to run at least once before you can check the web http://localhost/usage. More information is available in the software document.
